So, yesterday, Copeland and I took Josh to the zoo for the first time. The last time he went was with my kindergarten class and Copeland was in my belly. So, the zoo had changed a lot. The one part he wanted to see was this house I was telling him about- a bird house exhibit. You walk in through two doors and metal chains. Once inside, there are hundreds of different types of birds flying all around. It feels like Ace Ventura when he holds out his hands and says, “Come to me jungle friends!” We were given little popsicle sticks with honey and bird seed on them to feed the birds. Copeland was hilarious. She would coerce the birds with the stick and try to pick them up with her other hand. She loved it. So, I took some pictures…enjoy!
